Hye-Sim Won Orphanage, Seoul. South Korea.

The Global Arts Outreach Project recently visited Hye-Sim Won Orphanage to donate art materials for an arts program provided by the project, to be delivered by their arts teacher.

It has been great to connect to such a wonderful organisation with a strong understanding and emphasis on the importance of the role of the arts in the healing, well-being and freeing of imagination, for young people of all ages. Also for the visibility the arts can provide within the community through exhibitions.

Mrs Bang has been heading the organisation for 23 years and her dedication to the arts and its role in young people’s lives of all ages, is very inspiring. Global Arts Outreach Project looks forward to seeing the work produced from the donated arts materials/program, and also looks forward to returning to the organisation for further arts programs.

Hye-Sim Won relies upon donations such as clothes, toys and financial aid for further development. One of their buildings was built through financial donations, so please help out if you can!

Below are some examples of the children’s previously exhibited work.
